Delicious!

Silly chillin

The girls have been playing so well together this summer. They seem to entertain themselves and each other with the simplest things - like being silly

and playing dress up. Mimi loves to do everything her big sister does.

Poor AJ gets a bit too much attention.

We love Daddy (and Papa)

I'm a little behind on this post, but Sweet Pea and Mimi want to wish their Daddy and Papas a very happy (belated) Father's Day.

Trent and I took the girls up to Prescott for Father's Day weekend, where we enjoyed a nice family hike. We were so proud of Paloma for making it about a third of the way up Thumb Butte walking all by herself. And Mimi did just great in the back pack.

Paloma's Play Group

Our play group has reunited for the summer. Sweet Pea gets together with Nicholas and Gracie on Wednesdays to have lunch and play. All the kids seem to really enjoy doing art projects.

Play Date Season has officially begun

It's that time of year again. I'm home for the summer, and the girls and I are keeping busy, catching up with friends.

This week was especially busy. On Tuesday, we drove to Tucson to visit my mom and grandparents, which was very fun. I forgot my camera, of course!

Wednesday, Olive and Lilli came over to play. Paloma enjoyed being the big kid.

Thursday we went to Eliza and Henry's house. Poor Eliza has broken her arm, but that didn't stop them from playing Princess dress-up.

Mimi and (her future husband) Henry ate lunch at the "big-kid" table.

Today we met Noah and Helena and baby Henry at the Arizona Museum for Youth. The kids played in Artville, followed by lunch at Grandma's kitchen.

G2 Girls

Just like her big sister, Amelia loves to visit Daddy at the Gallery and climb on the sculptures. Too bad we can't afford to buy this one for our yard.

Easter 2008

The girls had such a fun Easter this year. Paloma and Mimi decorated eggs at Grandma's house, which I have to admit was pretty convenient. -no mess! ;-)

Then, Alexandria and her mom and grandma came up from Tucson to join us for our neighborhood Easter carnival. I think the highlight of the day for Mimi was the petting zoo.

Though she did pretty well collecting Easter eggs.

Paloma and Alexandria found LOTS of colorful Easter eggs.

And after the egg hunt, the jumping castle, and the petting zoo, they still had energy to burn, so they put on their suits and ran through the sprinklers. Come to think of it, maybe it was the pancake breakfast and all that candy!

FUNcle Fort

Uncle Fort came to town recently for his opening. As always, the whole family had loads of FUN. We took a trip to Prescott while he was here.

We hit Whiskey Row.

We watched the sunset from Grandma and Grandpa's roof.

Paloma has become especially fond of her FUNcle. Can't you see the resemblance?

Snow in Prescott

We went up to Prescott with our friends, Jamie and Kyle, last month. Their kids are only a few months younger than ours. Ellie and Paloma had such a nice time playing together. They even got to play in a small patch of snow (more like a block of ice, but still very exciting).

Tea Parties and Tutu's

The girls had a Tea Party with Grandma Guerin to celebrate Valentine's Day. They dressed in tutu's, decorated cookies, ate treats, and drank tea.

Mimi tried to undress herself during her nap.

My little angels?

Paloma has officially hit the terrible 3's. Lately, each day presents a new challenge, but we're trying our best to be patient and consistent. This picture reminds me that this is (hopefully) just a phase.

Mimi has become quite a little trouble maker as well.
